Since 1997, Julie Zener established herself in the art industry as a gallery owner, art dealer, art curator, and artist manager. She represented a broad range of national and international artists who varied in style from representational to abstract works.
Julie continued her career as an art dealer living in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Spain and ultimately landed in Mill Valley in 2005. At that time she co-founded Zener Art Group, solely managing the collection of Eric Zener paintings. Her role involved creating gallery relations, press, image licensing, and direct sales of artwork to prominent corporate and private collections. From 2012 – 2014, Julie added to her repertoire as curator for Arts Fund/Term of Art, in which she researched and curated 20 artists from each major city to exhibit at highly publicized and attended national art events sponsored by Red Bull. Her three year involvement in the tour exposed Julie to curate many artists from popular cities around the nation.
Julie Zener currently lives and works in Mill Valley with her three children.
